I’ve really been loving the site Pinterest lately. For those of you who don’t use it, it’s a social network dedicated to sharing big, bold, beautiful images of the world sourced from all around the web.
I also love cities, buildings, people, transportation and the disorder of urbanity. I have a “board” (in Pinterest speak = a photo gallery) of images called Ciudad where I pin photos I like that others have taken from some of my favorite cities around the world.
When I saw that Caz from yTravelBlog was featuring the topic “Cities” this week in her Travel Pinspiration series, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite photos from that album. (If you would like to join and post your own top 5 picks, find out more here.)
If you use Pinterest, please follow me. If not, I hope you are inspired to sign up!

Cassie,
I really liked Guadalajara… but there’s this little fishing village town that I visited (after we departed) that I really love: 1) San Blas, Nayarit, Mexico.
2) Bellingen, Australia
3) Rotoura, New Zealand
4) Hanalei, Kauai, Hawaii
5) San Francisico, CA
I wish I had been more diligent of taking photos of these places…

I wish I’d been able to go to San Blas with you! We should plan a trip out there sometime, is your friend still living there? I’m tentatively planning to go to PV and my friend’s small town in Jalisco next Sept. for Mexico’s independence day–if you could get off before or afterward, join us (though I understand mid-Sept is tough for teachers)
