Happy Pi Day (3.14)! Little known fact: When I moved into my college dorm room freshman year, I printed out the number Pi to several thousand digits (5 or 6 sheets of printer paper) and hung it on my wall as part of the oddly-curated and independent “wall art” installation that kids living on their own for the first time are prone to. I still made friends, somehow…
For those going to our East Bay SweetsCrawl tomorrow, please meet me at the entrance to the Oakland Rockridge BART station at about 12:50pm. There is parking available there if you need it. Be sure to eat a LIGHT lunch beforehand and bring a bottle of water to cleanse your palate in between stops. Wear sunscreen, the weather is supposed to be sunny and up to 75 degrees! We will end back at Rockridge BART at about 5pm.
There will be pie, though I can’t promise it will look like the one above…
If you have a friend that would like to come, there are still a few spaces left so please invite them along (but shoot me an email to let me know).
Can’t join us in person? Just eat something sweet and share a photo of it on Facebook (mark as ‘public’), Twitter, or Instagram using the hashtag #SweetsCrawl and I’ll share it across our accounts.
See you then!
