You all know I love markets and street vendors. They are my favorite places and people to photograph. Bonus points to ones like this guy in the Old Town area of Cartagena, Colombia who was selling passion fruit. They were gorgeous and perfectly wrinkly, which means they are ripe, and the biggest I’ve ever seen, nearly the size of a softball.
Foto Friday is a series where I go back through my archives to share photos that I love either because I think they are beautiful or they have an interesting story. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I guess Cartagena is on top of Colombia’s most beautiful places. The skyline of the Caribbean port city is spectacular! The beach, the old town and everything… and I heart it’s pretty safe as well.

It is a really beautiful city! And most of the country is very safe, there are just a few places on the perimeter and in the jungle that are still controlled by guerrillas, but no tourists ever go there.
